Thomas' 1st Christmas Program

Thomas participated in his first Christmas program at school. They came in singing, We Wish You A Merry Christmas. Then they sat down and the music teacher read the Christmas story to everyone. Then they sang Away in a Manger, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, and Jingle Bells. He did a great job singing the songs and following the teacher's directions. After the program we went back to his classroom for their little Christmas party.

Buzz Lightyear and his Alien Friend ready for a fun night of trick-or-treating.
Cutie Pie! Riding in the wagon - watching Thomas trick-or-treat.
Who needs a candy bag when you can hold on to your big brother?
Mmmm...candy.
Wow...Flash joined us for the Halloween fun!
Hey! This stuff looks good. Mmmm...candy wrappers.

Pumpkin Carving

We carved our pumpkin on Thursday night. Thomas chose the face from the pictures I showed him on the internet. He said he wanted a spooky face this year. He watched me cut it and stuck his hand inside for a picture, but he still doesn't like to get his hands messy so when I put some pumpkin guts in his hand, he cried.

Timothy didn't mind pumpkin guts though...
Here's Thomas posing with his hand in the pumpkin.

Our carved pumpkin.
Me trying to take a picture and keep Timothy from crawling off the table at the same time. :)

Thomas' 1st Day of Preschool

Thomas had a great 1st day at preschool today. He got to play on the big boy playground, listen to stories, walk with his hands behind his back, AND drink out of the water fountain! (it's the small things in life...)

Timothy's 6 Month Check-up

Timothy had his 6 month check-up today. He weighs 15lbs, 11oz and is 27 inches long! He had an absolute blasts crumpling the paper on the exam table. (he had to be naked for the exam)

Handy Man

Thomas put one of his pairs of handy man goggles on Timothy today. What a CUTIE!

Yes, that's and HEB sticker on his tummy. Thomas got a couple of stickers today and he decided to share one with his little brother.

Grandma's 75th

Pictures from Grandma's 75th Birthday lunch. Enjoy!

(this is the 3rd picture I took of this group. In all 3 pictures Evan is not looking at the camera. Next time I'll wear a clown nose and shake a toy above the camera. Maybe then he'll look...)

Funny story about the Steve McKinney signed football that Pops gave Thomas:
On the way home Thomas asked to play with the football. Brian and I both told him that he couldn't play with it because a football player had written his name on it. It was just for looking, not for playing. He thought about that for a minute, then he said, "Mom, when we get home I'm going to get a wipey and wash that man's name off the football. Then I can play with it." Needless to say, we put it out of reach when we got home. :)

Timothy

Look at those BLUE eyes!
I've been behind on posting Timothy's monthly pictures...mostly because I waited FOREVER for Brian to scan in his 3 month picture. He'll be 5 months in a week, but here are his 3 and 4 month pictures.

HMNS

We went to The Houston Museum of Natural Science today. We got to see Lois the corpse flower..after she died and didn't stink anymore...thank goodness.

We got to see the butterflies and bugs in the butterfly museum.

Thomas got to be the weather man. How cute is he? I think he gets his love of talking about the weather from his MiMi. :)

And we got to see the dinosaur bones. Thomas' favorite was the pterodactyl.
