15 Months

Timothy is 15 months old today. We celebrated by going to the doctor and getting 2 shots. :)
Here are his stats:
Length - 32 in (78th percentile)
Weight - 22lbs, 10 oz (21st percentile)
He has his arm in a splint to allow for swelling until next Tuesday when we go to the orthopedist and then he will most likely get a cast to wear for several weeks.
Having a broken elbow has not slowed him down one bit! He is still running, climbing, and getting into TROUBLE.

Here he is demonstrating how he broke his elbow with a broken elbow.

Today. (a list)

1. Got accosted by a strange lady at HEB for using the basket that she likes to use when she goes there. Seriously.
2. Timothy fell while trying to climb on the coffee table.
3. Lots of crying.
4. An hour and many tears later, he's not using his right arm.
5. Call the doctor's office begging to be seen by someone, even if it's not our doctor.
6. Now I'm crying.
7. They make a wise decision while talking to the crying mother and tell me to come on in.
8. Get there and see a doctor - not our doctor.
9. Doctor thinks Timothy has something called Nursemaid's Elbow where a ligament is trapped or some such nonsense in his elbow.
10. Doctor attempts to "pop" elbow ligament thingy back into place.
11. No pop, BUT, lots of crying. From Timothy and me.
12. Doctor orders elbow x-rays "just for giggles" (yes, those were her words)
13. Go to radiology, put on a lead apron, hold Timothy's arm in several painful positions for x-rays.
14. Lots of crying. (not me this time)
15. Go back to our patient room and wait for x-ray results.
16. The power goes out at the doctor's office.
17. Go out into the hallway and stand under the emergency lights.
18. Doctor looks at x-rays on a laptop and sends them to the orthopedist at another location (with power)
19. Timothy has a small break in his right elbow. (not the Nursemaid's Elbow at all)
20. Get a Snoopy sling and an appointment with the splint monkeys for a hard splint tomorrow.
21. Go down the stairs (power's still out)
22. Hear that some poor patient is stuck in the elevator.
23. Feel grateful for something.
24. Go home. Get Thomas ready for his very first swim lesson of the summer.
25. Get to pool, get called to the water, THUNDER.
26. Swim's cancelled. Go home.
27. Pray for a much better day tomorrow.

Memorial Day Fun

Today we went to the Woodlands Mall to play and eat, then came home and put up the pool. Thomas and Timothy swam and splashed and played while we grilled hot dogs. We got the boys out of the pool and got them dried off and dressed before we ate. After we finished and were cleaning up, this happened:

It reminded me of Thomas doing the exact same thing when he was 18 months old.

Easter Pictures

Timothy threw his egg when I tried to get him to hold it for a picture so that's why his is all cracked. :)

Our crazy boys on St. Paddy's Day, complete with green drinks at dinner. (Thomas and I had green Sprite, Brian had green beer, and Timothy had green water.)

Happy 4th Birthday!

At the beginning of December Thomas had his first "friend" birthday party with a moonwalk, pinata, and lots of fun.
On his actual birthday we went to La Maria for dinner. At La Maria they put a big hat on you, sing Happy Birthday, and spread a HANDFUL of cream all over your face on your birthday. Thomas has thoroughly enjoyed watching both Brian and I get creamed on our birthdays, but he has said since the start that he was not going to have cream on his face on his birthday. So we told Tony (who waits on us every Friday) that we just wanted the hat and song - no cream. They did as we asked, but you better believe that Thomas kept a close eye on all of the waiters while they were singing. :)
I can't believe that my boy is 4 now! He is so OLD!

Favorites!

I took these two pictures the week of Christmas and they are now my favorites! I love how Timothy's 2 little teeth are showing in the first one and I love his big smile in the second.

Bath

Timothy is really loving his bath these days. In fact, he will crawl into the bathroom and pull himself up on the side of the tub all day long if the bathroom door is open.
He LOVES to splash! I have to hold the shower curtain as a shield or else I will be soaked at the end of bath time.

Thomas likes having Timothy in the tub. Sometimes he even helps wash him off. :)
