Timothy

Look at those BLUE eyes!
I've been behind on posting Timothy's monthly pictures...mostly because I waited FOREVER for Brian to scan in his 3 month picture. He'll be 5 months in a week, but here are his 3 and 4 month pictures.

HMNS

We went to The Houston Museum of Natural Science today. We got to see Lois the corpse flower..after she died and didn't stink anymore...thank goodness.

We got to see the butterflies and bugs in the butterfly museum.

Thomas got to be the weather man. How cute is he? I think he gets his love of talking about the weather from his MiMi. :)

And we got to see the dinosaur bones. Thomas' favorite was the pterodactyl.

The Children's Museum

Thomas and I went to the Children's Museum today. It was fun...the best part was the gigantic climbing thing that he climbed from bottom to top.

Pizza Night

We had MAKE YOUR OWN PIZZA NIGHT tonight. It was a great success. Thomas was very methodical in getting all of his pepperoni in lines and his pizza turned out perfectly.

A cute video of Thomas saying, "Mozzarella"

ExerSaucer

Timothy is now big enough and holds his head up long enough to enjoy the ExerSaucer. Hooray!
He also made a new friend while hanging out in the ExerSaucer in Thomas' room.

The Circus

We took Thomas to THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH on Wednesday. The Circus! We all had a great time watching the show and Thomas got a very awesome circus flashlight to play with during the show.

The dog tricks, tigers, and acrobats.

All the elephant tricks.

The human cannon.

On July 5 Timothy got to try cereal for the first time.

Day 1 of Cereal: made a lot of funny faces, pushed most of it out right after I got it in

Day 2 of Cereal: tried to talk to me the entire time I fed him, started to get the hang of swallowing the cereal

Day 3 of Cereal: Mimi and Boonpa fed him

Day 4 of Cereal: tried to stick his tongue out every time I gave him a bite

Day 5 of Cereal: did well swallowing the cereal

The Fourth of July

The boys during the Fourth of July parade.

The boys much, much later that night (see previous post for the story of Thomas' head injury).
Lunch

Pictures from the parade.

Thomas' Accident

On the Fourth of July, Thomas went to MiMi and Boonpa's house to spend the night. Brian and I got a phone call at about 7:15 saying that he had run into the crib over at their house and had a pretty deep cut on his head. They were going to the ER so I met them there. This is what he looked like:
The doctor at the ER agreed that his head needed to be closed up, but instead of stitches, he glued it together. This is what he looked like with the purple glue on his head.
I'm happy to report that his injury has not slowed him down any. :)

Vacation (part 3 of 3)

Timothy's first trip to the beach. He didn't mind putting his toes in the sand, but he didn't care for the wind blowing on his face.
That bottom right picture should read,
"Who needs sand toys when you've got tasty hands to chew on?"

Thomas got to fly his first kite (a Spiderman one, of course) and dig in the sand.

We saved our beach trip for the last day of vacation and Hurricane Alex had entered the gulf at that point causing rain, extremely high tides, and choppy water. None of us actually got into the water at the beach that day. I did get a couple of pictures of the really dark rain clouds that surrounded us.

Vacation (part 2 of 3)

The Rainforest Cafe

I made collages of our vacation pictures so that I could share as many pictures as possible on here. Also, they're convenient to print out and slip into a scrapbook.
However, I had to share this picture all by itself. That is a look of sheer terror on his face. We saw that look a lot at the Rainforest Cafe. :)
On the paddlewheel boat. Thomas made excellent use of their dance floor. We got to see a fabulous break dancing show that involved a lot of flinging one leg into the air while spinning around on his hands and feet.

Timothy's first boat ride. He's wearing his UPS man brown. :)
(It was Thomas' first boat ride as well.)

Vacation (part 1 of 3)

Pictures from Moody Gardens.

Thomas is the size of a King Penguin. Timothy is about the size of a Fairy Penguin.

All of us trapped in a shark cage.

My little froggies.

In the rainforest.
(I love how Thomas looks in the picture by the birds. He was nervous about sitting so close to them.)

The caterpillar crawl and butterfly's first flight.
(Thomas had trouble staying upright on the caterpillar crawl)

Father's Day

Here's my collage of pictues from Father's Day. I know it's late, but I've been busy...
